
Debra Isabel Huron has extensive experience as a writer, editor, and trainer. For three years, she managed the Plain Language Service at the Canadian Public Health Association. She has worked for a national literacy organization, the Ottawa Board of Education, the Canadian Union of Public Employees, and as a self-employed pen-for-hire. Her experience as a trainer includes design and delivery of writing workshops for diverse clients in the health, government, and voluntary sectors.
