Candice is a plain language lawyer and co-founder of Simplified, a training and consultancy firm in Johannesburg. She is the South African representative of Clarity. The main focus of Candice’s work is simplifying legal and financial information.
Candice received a BA and LLB at University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. After practising law in London from 1998 -2001, she returned to South Africa. In 2005, Candice Burt and Frances Gordon founded Simplified. They developed a proprietary training method which has been used to train over 3,000 people in South Africa, Portugal and the UK.
